Mindfirst has been involved in projects in various industries including distribution, energy, financial services, life sciences, telecommunications and other technology driven sectors. Project size has varied from start-up funding to leading a team of 50 programmers developing and deploying an e-business application for a public company. Interim general management roles have included wind-ups, turnarounds and exponential growth situations.

Angel Investor Summit

Conceived in 2000, the inaugural Angel Investor Summit 2001 was co-chaired by Henry Vehovec and Roger Martin, Dean, Rotman School of Management. The event was hailed at the time as the largest ever gathering of angel investors in Canada. Two years later the Angel Investor Summit led to the creation of the National Angel Organization. Highlights of the first Summit may be viewed in the library section.

CHIN UP Foundation www.chinup.org

The CHIN UP Foundation was created to aid research in the treatment and prevention of Children's Injured Nerves. The group's flagship event is the annual CHIN UP Angel Investor Golf Invitational with Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children being the principal beneficiary.
